about

Fourth album from Illinois rock-country-psychedelic-folk troubadours Tractor Kings is a moody set of songs, that were a long time coming. Codes is about patterns and shapes and how humans relate to one another and this weird world we live in. At this the same time the album is a figurative and literal travelogue, touching upon some dizzying heights and crushing depths, and how winding up somewhere in between has it's allure. Feet on the ground is a good feeling. Gravity should always be your friend. Ten new songs, their first since 2008's Homesick.
